Ronald McDonald Bike Ride 2007 Since 1991, Ronald McDonald House in the Hunter has provided a home away from home for more than 4800 families of seriously ill children. This bike ride spread the word about the wonderful work at Ronald McDonald House and raised much-needed funds to support their ongoing operation. Ronald McDonald House helps families to stay together as a unit to support the sick child, with doctors agreeing that children tend to respond better to treatment if their family is nearby.
