Stitch Screws

Self-drilling stitch screws designed for joining light gauge steel sheeting, available in a variety of finishes to suit a wide range of environmental conditions.

How To Use

  1. Measure the combined thickness of materials to be stitched.
  2. Select a screw with the correct head style for the job.
  3. Select the correct driver for the screw being used:

    Head Style Driver
    Hex Hd 8g 1/4" Hex Socket
    Hex Hd 10g 5/16" Hex Socket

  4. Fit driver to a power screwdriver.
  5. Set speed to HIGH - approx. 2500 rpm.
  6. Fit screw to driver and place at fastening position.
  7. Push sharply on screwdriver to create a starting point.
  8. Drive screw home using normal drilling pressure.
    To avoid stripout, do not overtighten.

Application: Recommended Screw:
Hex Slot Head - no seal (serrated underhead)
Joining overlaps of roofing and cladding profiles up to 0.8mm thick
- Slot head can be installed into pre-drilled holes using a blade screwdriver
- Serrated underhead provides for a tight flush sealing finish
