For a number of years Buildex has been the leading Australian
manufacturer of Stainless Steel Taptites and Type 17
screws. Recently, it has released a new range of Stainless
Steel Teks® self-drilling screws for roofing and
cladding applications.
This new range leads the way again, with the innovation
of robotically welding a martensitic drill tips to its
300 Teks. This hardened tip provides the drill performance
benefits of a carbon steel tip, while providing higher
corrosion protection. It allows the grade 305 body of
the screw to secure materials being fastened with a
more ductile grade of stainless steel.
