We at Metroll Newcastle are a socially responsible company. Hence,
we have designed and installed effective OH&S systems and procedures
that prioritise the health and safety of our staff.
By taking a strategic approach to managing OH&S risks, we have
identified key safety outcomes, set targets and monitored the performance
against these targets. We have put into practice a reporting program
on the workplace risks and implemented action plans to deal with
these identified risks.
The Metroll Newcastle OH&S systems are designed to provide a
safe working environment for staff, reduce injuries and illnesses,
and improve operational efficiency. We have installed a simple and
practical OH&S framework that complies with legal requirements
and meets industry best practice.
We take the approach that it is more important to minimise workplace
injuries and illnesses then to deal with workplace accidents. However,
we have procedures in place to manage incidents that include all
staff knowing what is required of them and how to react to workplace
accidents.
Our OH&S programs are clear, consistent and incorporate a strong
risk management focus that involves keeping a close scrutiny on
the legislative requirements and an even closer one on accident
prevention procedures.
