Metrospan® may be fastened to timber or steel supports by conventional crest fixing. There needs to be 4 fixings per sheet at the ends and end laps and 3 fixings per sheet at the intermediate supports. Always face side laps away from the prevailing weather.

Softwood

Roofing: T17 No. 12 x 65mm Self drilling wood screw, Hexhead with neoprene washer.
Cladding: T17 No. 12 x 25mm Self drilling wood screw, Hexhead.

Hardwood

Roofing: T17 No. 12 x 50mm Self drilling wood screw, Hexhead with neoprene washer.
Cladding: T17 No. 12 x 25mm Self drilling wood screw, Hexhead.

Steel Supports up to 5mm thick

Roofing: “Teks” Self drilling wood screws No. 12 x 45mm with neoprene washer. Cladding: “Teks” Self drilling wood screws No. 10 x 16mm.
