Colours & Finishes
Gutters and down pipes manufactured from COLORBOND®
steel are premium quality rainwater products due to
a strict quality controlled manufacturing processes.
To offer you the best quality products, Metroll starts
with the best materials and finishes.
The ZINCALUME® steel base is chemically treated
on both sides with a conversion coating before being
coated with an epoxy primer. The primer is then baked
on before applying the final oven baked exterior finish.
Many products manufactured from COLORBOND® steel
are supplied with special protection polyethylene film
called Corstrip®. The film protects the Colorbond®
product during storage and handling and must be stripped
off immediately upon installation. Sunlight can increase
the adhesion so it is vital the products with Corstrip®
applied are not left uncovered in the outside air.
The colours of COLORBOND® prepainted steel shown
have been reproduced to represent actual product colours
as accurately as possible. However we recommend checking
your chosen colour against an actual sample of the product
before purchasing, as varying light conditions and limitations
of the printing process affect colour tones.
